High Uintas - Timothy Lakes Basin

Dave had been trying to put together a High Uintas backpack all summer. This was the only weekend that Mikey was able to go...but he ultimately had to bow out due to some pregnancy scares. Dave and I decided to go anyway. We were a little nervous about mosquitoes this time of year, but they ended up being mostly a non-issue...our 2nd camp excepting. It was a grueling 3,000 foot climb up into the basin, but we saw a bunch of lakes, and the fishing was fantastic. Mount Emmons turned out to be a little too ambitious, and I ultimately turned back. I also tried out a new 1-man tent and comfy chair solution.
