After spending some time in Minneapolis, St. Paul, and Duluth, and a quick stop to Gooseberry Falls State Park, I finally did make it up to the main purpose of this trip, Voyageurs National Park. I was expecting nasty weather, so imagine my surprise to find it sunny and calm once I arrived. :) Voyageurs is an interesting park in that without a boat it's basically pointless. I only have one watercraft, my trusty packraft, so I was sure to bring it along. I picked the closest campsite to a visitor center I could find (all only boat accessible) and partook of the beauty and unique landscape that Voyageurs offers on the leisurely float over to it.
