The first year we did this, about 3 years ago, we thought it was a miracle that the CFS on the Virgin finally cooperated. But now we've done it 3 of the last 4 years...the water gods have been smiling upon us apparently. This year it was just me and Mikey, and we tried to time it for a low-ish flow for a nice chill packraft through the famous canyon. Imagine our surprise when we found out afterward that the CFS was actually about 100 higher than originally reported (300ish). Doh! We made it through okay, however, and even portaged a new killer rapid caused by a rockfall from the previous April.
