Stewart Falls

Stewart Falls is not the most exotic hike (or snowshoe), but I decided to add this one for a couple reasons. I wanted to kick off 2023 with something, at least, and this is turning out to be a record snow year...and I really wanted to see/document what it looks like. And what it looks like...is crazy! I've never seen that much snow at Stewart before. I heard a long, deep, loud roar one drainage over that sounded an awful lot like a big avalanche. I don't know if it was or not, but I didn't spend long at the base of Stewart to find out...for obvious reasons. The snowshoe was really nice, no one else around.
