Camelback Mountain

Alisa and I decided to do a quick spring break trip to the Phoenix area in order to escape the snow and cold and get some sun. Camelback Mountain is a hike that had been on my radar for many years since having discovered it on a separate Phx trip. The original plan was to just go up the Cholla trail and back down, but Alisa messed up her knee somehow (knee bursitis?) and graciously offered to drive around and pick me up on the Echo Canyon side...so I was actually able to see both trails. Awesome views of the entire valley from the top! It was actually a little more challenging that I had anticipated, too.
