Mikey had another relatively rare Saturday morning open and was craving getting out again. We kind of floundered trying to decide what to do 'cause it had been rainy/snowy the previous week which made mountain biking and climbing in the snow a bit complicated (muddy trails, avalanche danger). After some back and forth we decided on Powerhouse Mountain, a nearly 8k foot peak between Hobble Creek and Spring canyons. It was a steep trail, and a bit bushwhacky in places, but the views were amazing, especially this time of year with the green and snow-capped peaks. We even got a little bonus snow at the top.
