My brother Tim bought some "favorite Utah hikes" book, and Naomi Peak, way up by Logan and Bear lake, was one of them. We actually planned to drive up and hike it together, but the forecast was for like 90% rain, so he didn't drive up. Meanwhile, Alisa's company had a retreat planned the same weekend for the Bear Lake area which she invited me to. Long story short, I wasn't planning on hiking it at all, but when I woke up the weather was better than expected, there was a window of opportunity, and even though I didn't have my normal hiking gear, I took it! :) It ended up being a pleasant hike with really nice views.
