The lower section had lots of techy drops. We were able to ride most, but a few were a little bit too dramatic, like this one. Too old to get injured! Off the bike we go. :)

A sort of "spine" that we rode across. This area of the trail I thought was reminiscent of Thunder Mountain down by Bryce.

As we descended it started to get more deserty and red rocky. There was threat of rain throughout the ride, but fortunately we experienced hardly a drop.
